The capacity of The Jiskra Pension is 48 beds in double to four-bed rooms. Our guests are welcome to use a common room where they can have a rest by a fireplace or television with satellite reception. If you like to rest in an active way then you can visit our fitness centre, tennis court, volleyball field or sports equipment and mountain bicycles rental. Our pension is ideal as a place where to spend your family holiday and, also, as a place where to hold training courses, school camps etc. Parking is available right at the pension. Dogs are allowed for an extra fee.

Penzion JISKRA – Neighbourhood

The town of Železná Ruda lies in a valley 754 m above sea level and it is an ideal starting point for your trips to explore beautiful Šumava mountains. Most of the ski runs are situated on the southern slopes.
Conditions for cross-country skiing are also favourable.
Summers are just perfect to go hiking or cycling.

Penzion JISKRA – Rooms

We have double to four-bed rooms, some of the rooms have their own bathroom and toilet, the rest have common sanitary facilities that are always situated on each floor.
All en suite rooms are equipped with television.

Penzion JISKRA – Gastronomy

We prepare breakfast and dinner for our guests. We can also arrange all three meals a day for larger groups such as schools and companies. The nearest restaurant is about 100 m away from our pension.

Additional information

We lend baby beds for an extra fee of CZK 10/a day.

Ochotný personál, paní správcová na náš příjezd počkala, i když nemusela a ubytovala nás už dopoledne, přestože jsme oficiálně měli nástup od 14 hodin. Velmi příjemné ubytování v centru Železné Rudy, kousek od sjezdovky. Jako rodina s dětmi jsme ocenili apartmán s dvěma odělenými pokoji. Těžko hledám zápory... Snad jen absence klasických radiátorů na sušení oděvů. Společná sušárna sice také není špatná, ale bylo nutné vlhké oblečení odnést 2 poschodí dolů a druhý den opět 2 poschodí nahoru (náš případ). Ale nehodnotím to jako velký problém, spíše mě nic jiného nenapadlo...

Vytápění, umístění blízko nádaraží, ping - pongový stůl, příjemný,vstřícný a ochotný personál, klid, soukromí. Nástup do hotelu až od 16.00 hod. V koupelně málo věšáčků a jejich umístění nad WC, byl cítit odpad.

Penzion vcelku udržovaný, ale byla tam docela zima,na pokoji jen dva přímotopy v úrovni očí a z toho fungoval jen jeden. Ve sprše byla větší zima než na chodbě. Je fakt, že bylo venku asi -15st,ale přeci jenom penzion na horách by měl být na takovou zimu připraven. Jinak na dámských záchodech tma, asi prasklá žárovka. Snídaně dobrá.

příjemné prostředí, ochotný personál, výhodou je malá kuchyňka s mikrovlnkou, kde si můžete ohřát večeři,kterou vám schovají pokud se nestihnete včas vrátit.
