The town of Janské Lázně is a gateway of eastern part of the Krkonoše mountains. The Kotva Hotel offers a cosy accommodation in two to four-bed rooms equipped with en suite bathroom and TV with satellite reception. Safe deposit box, fridge and hair dryer are extras in our premium rooms. On the ground floor, you find our hotel restaurant and a bar that are ready to provide you with all the gastronomical service. The nearby ski centre has been undergoing a dynamic development and it is no accident that it was considered as the second "five-star" ski centre in the Czech republic. Ski slopes in this ski area, with the length of 3 km, belongs to the longest in the Czech republic. Artificial snow covering is possible on the main slopes. Cableway to the peak of the Černá Mountain, that offers a splendid view, is less than 700 metres away from the hotel.

The main ski slopes are fitted for the production of artificial snow. Ski slopes are suitable for families with children, because the site is located downhill from the practice of meadows to challenging runs. Ski-area machine regularly provides 50 km of trails and luges can try the 3.5 km long toboggan run. In summer, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, etc.. (Bicycle trails). The hotel can be used for recreation, sport and tourism in all seasons. The hotel is located about 200 meters from the spa colonnade and 700 meters from the platform to lift the Black Mountain. Surrounding lifts are situated approximately 500 meters. The winter season is the ski-bus service, which will rozveze around campus for free! - Stops at the hotel.

We stayed in double room with fridge& free safe box. Free wireless internet on-site, City SKIBUS 50 metres, Ski Areal Cerna Hora 750 metres, Staff very friendly& helpful, some cosy restaurants in walking distance, brekfast rather not various, but fresh& tasty. Good value for money, though we styed in the hotel during Christmas/ New Years time.
