The newly opened three-star Hotel Adeba can be found near the centre of town, in the quiet location of Karlin, eight minutes walk from the underground station Křižíkova. It is possible to get to the centre by foot within about twenty minutes, or else by underground or tram in about ten minutes. Hotel Adeba offers quality at a very reasonable price, with the possibilities of double, three and four bed-rooms with showers, toilets and satellite television. On the ground floor of the hotel is a common room where breakfast is served, but it can also be used for conferences, company events and meetings.

S hotelem jsme byli spokojeni, velmi příjemný, hotelu jako takovému nebylo co vytknout. Překvapily nás jen koleje hned za okny, kdy ve večerních hodinách projelo 5 vlaků za 10 minut, ale vzhledem k tomu, že jsme se do hotelu přišli pouze vyspat, tak to nevadilo. Příště kdybych rezervovala pokoj, napíšu do poznámky, že pokud to bude možné, dám přednost pokoji s okny na druhou stranu.

Národní památník na Vítkově

Národní památník na Vítkově (in the distance of 0.21 km)

Na vrchu zvaném Vítkov proběhla 14. července 1420 bitva, ve které husitská vojska, vedená Janem Žižkou, zvítězila nad křižáky. Na památku této bitvy se vrch začal nazývat Žižkov. Projekt Památníku národního osvobození, vytvořil arch. J. Zázvorka a v roce 1928 zahájil prezident Masaryk stavbu slavnostním výkopem. Hrubá stavba byla ukončena v roce 1932.
