From Prague after 150 km highway D1, exit at exit 178 Ostrovacice, 5.5 km straight at New Court to the right and 6 km around the castle, right to the hotel Rakovec. From Vienna after the A22 motorway 10km, B7 entrance road, 48 km after the raid D1 motorway, exit at EXIT 190 Brno-west, 6 km straight ahead and left the hotel Rakovec Of Ostrava 90 km along the D1 motorway, exit, exit 267 Olomouc, again on the D1 motorway 40 km, exit at EXIT 190 Brno-West, 7 km still straight and then left the hotel Rakovec
Hotel Rakovec – Neighbourhood
The hotel is situated in a quiet recreational area of Brno. The tourist activities are available nearby castle Veveří. The hotel surroundings are cycling, hiking and water sports, as the hotel is located only 30 meters from the dam.

Rooms are of type double. Possibility of use by one person. Rooms are equipped with luxury bathroom with shower, toilet, TV with remote control, desk and chairs.
Hotel Rakovec – Gastronomy
Opening Hours Our restaurant is from 11.30 to 22.00. We provide a full board. A rich selection of dishes from the menu. We offer dishes of meat, fish, vegetarian menu and grilled specialties. Terrace offers a nice outdoor seating for 80 people overlooking the dam.
Additional information
The conference hall has a capacity of 200 persons. It's nice and cozy environment for events with a view of the dam. The lobby bar is 40 people and offers a large selection of coffees, soft drinks, wines and champagnes as well as hot meals. Free Internet connection throughout the hotel complex Rakovec.

čistota, útulnost, dobrý stav vybavení pokojů
Prestože personál hodnotím devíti hvězdičkami, chtělo by to do něj ještě trochu "invenstovat", např. by měli vědět, že je dobré zeptat se hostů zda byli spokojeni - nic to nestojí a mohu z toho jen získat informaci, kde je prostor pro zlepšení. Nebo nenaznačovat hostům, že by hodinu před určených check-outem už mohli odejít. Chápejte jako drobné výtky, špetku, která chybí k dokonalosti

Hotel je hezky zrekonstruovaný, čistý, personál hotelu velice ochotný a příjemný, dokonce se i usmívá, co na na české poměry je bohužel ještě pořád výjika :-).
Skvělá kuchyně!!! jedno z největších plus - výborná snídaně, a jídlo v restauraci, které jsem si dávala večer bylo fantastické - moderní, chutné, krásné! Ale nic pro typicky české stravníky, kteří očekávají obrovské talíře s 6 knedlíky. :-)
- inzerované wellnes zatím není v provozu
- trochu mi byla na pokoji zima :-)
- chybí dotáhnout detaily jako véšáček na ručník u umyvadla nebo stojan na šampon ve sprše...
- všechno je docela dost slyšet - měla jsem trochu pocit, že kolega ve vedlejším pokoji je tam se mnou :-)
- u snídaně mi vadilo, že jsem si kafe musela dělat sama
- nápad s pomeranči a odšťavňovačem je super,ale zabere dost času, upřednostnila bych u snídaně třeba i čistou vodu - když jsem nechtěla sladké džusy a nebo si sama vymačkat pomeranče, měla jsem smůlu...
